I was born and raised in Red Hook and attended Red Hook Schools. I remain living in Red Hook with my husband, Ian. We have been married since 1988 and have 2 adult children named Michael and Kayla. They both graduated from college and have degrees in Mechanical Engineering. We are very proud of them! When they were children, they also attended Church Street Nursery school! We have a one-year-old grandson, Cameron who we love and adore and love spending time with him and his family. We also have three Grand fur babies, Meatball, Daisy and Colden and love to see them and help take them when needed

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband traveling. Some of our favorite trips include Outer Banks, Maine, Mexico, Jamaica, Bermuda, Alaska, and cruising to different countries! We also like taking short trips and visiting with our children and having them visit us.

Working at the school and teaching the children has been my passion. I love working with the children and their families. I have enjoyed watching them grow and blossom throughout the years! Children learn best through play and hands on experiences! I provide a safe, nurturing environment where the children feel validated and loved. I think one of the highlights of my job is seeing the joy and delight on a child’s face when they have been working on a skill and they have mastered it! There is nothing like hearing them say “I did it all by myself” and watching them beam and feel self-confident.
